Ivan Medrano is a Filipino-Australian New Media Artist investigating the intersection of art, fashion, and technology. Specialising in digital fashion imagery, Medrano utilises a range of technologies such as facial scanning and 3D modelling to create work that is romantic, alluring, and introspective. He describes digital fashion as “a form that innately advocates for creative accessibility”, intrinsically unique for “how it empowers artists to create beyond what may be physically available to them.” “It’s an artistic expression that’s more accessible to marginalized creators, especially young ones... Metaversal fashion is within reach for anyone with a computer and internet connection.” He tells VOGUE Philippines. Medrano pioneers digital fashion as a vehicle to articulate culture and identity in a new age. “He believes that Filipinos can bring a unique perspective to the virtual space, because of our strong cultural connection, sense of unity, and complex and multifaceted nature. To yield to this adventure is to reimagine the world of fashion, art, and design.”Untethered by the white walls of traditional physical art practices, Ivan Medrano fashions technology as a tool for empowerment, exploring the boundless possibilities of an intangible future.

Frames are optional when you order your art print.

Our standard framing option is a premium moulded boxed frame, handcrafted locally in New Zealand. It features 20mm mouldings and a depth of 30mm, and is available in Natural Oak, Black, or White. Each framed print is backed with MDF and includes hanging fittings. We carefully wrap each framed print in bubble wrap and place it in a protective cardboard box for safe delivery.

Please note that A0 framed prints must be collected from our suppliers in Ponsonby or Takapuna, Auckland. We do not ship framed glass prints either within New Zealand or internationally. For more information, please refer to our FAQs.

We partner with NZ Post and Post Haste for our courier services. We are happy to offer FREE, locally tracked, and insured shipping for deliveries across New Zealand.
