Muxo, an illustrator and designer whose creative journey is a captivating blend of his European roots and a profound connection with New Zealand. In 2005, Muxo embarked on a transcontinental adventure, leaving behind his homeland to discover a new abode on the other side of the world. In New Zealand, he found not just a place to live but an endless source of inspiration.
Exploring the winding roads and breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand, Muxo saw his illustrations come to life with the vibrant hues of memories collected over the years. Each curve and hill became a blank canvas, filled with the unique magic of this country. The Polynesian culture, prevalent in NZ, also left its mark on Muxo's work, adding a distinctive touch to his creations.
Recently, Muxo returned to his European roots, but not before leaving a visual legacy that bears witness to his time spent in New Zealand. His illustrations narrate the story of an extraordinary journey, where New Zealand's color palette meets Polynesian heritage, creating a unique and unforgettable experience.
