Miki Nozomi is an artist based north of Auckland specialising in graphite and ink painting.

The end works can be hyperrealistic with her processes stemming from the accessibility of pencil and ink as mediums, both of which allow for a great deal of experimental, gestural or intuitive elements. Her work explores themes in femininity, female gaze and dismantling the fetishisation of asian people or culture.

Miki has won multiple awards within New Zealand and has plans for an upcoming solo exhibition in Tokyo.
