PRINTS
We print all of our art and photography prints on one of two types of high-quality paper: either the finest smooth or textured Enhanced Matte acid-free art paper (210 gsm white), or a smooth or textured Cotton Rag (270 gsm warm white). We use archival inks to ensure rich colour, fine details, and longevity.
Our printing partners provide premium quality and a gallery art finish, allowing you to showcase your new art piece proudly in your home, workplace, or any special space.
Framing is an optional choice for all of our art and photography prints. If you would like assistance with custom framing, we would be happy to connect you with one of our partner suppliers. Please get in touch!
The ✜ symbol indicates our Variable Art Products, signifying that a product is available in multiple options within the same category. For instance, some art and photography prints come in different colour variations, paper types, and orientations.
FRAMING
By default, we offer an affordable and stylish contemporary wooden boxed frame, made locally in New Zealand. Our premium-looking minimal boxed frame comes in three modern moulding finishes: natural raw oak, black, and white, all featuring a lustrous matte finish.
This framing option provides more depth than a standard frame, ensuring that your art prints have a gallery-quality, premium finish.

Our default boxed frame features a contemporary wood moulding, providing a minimal and gallery-like finish. All of our frames are made locally in New Zealand.

We sometimes offer products with various framing options that we believe enhance your print, typically our Simple or Classic Frames. Additionally, we can customize framing upon request.

All of our frames have acid free backing boards and standard 2mm glass.
A4 frames have hanging teeth, A3 - A1 frames are traditionally strung with d-rings.
A0 frames are strung if portrait or d-rings only (no string) if landscape.
Oak Frames are natural, uncoated wood and will slightly darken over time.
Special glass (non-reflective or UV), or archival mats and baking boards are available on request.
All frames are cleanly taped on the back for a professional finish with the Art + Realism branded mark.
Avoid direct sun light to protect your art from fading.
A1 and A0 sized framed prints with a landscape orientation should be hung with two picture hooks with a gap between them. If you hang with one picture hook pressure is increased on the joins and can pull apart over time.
SHIPPING
All orders for customers in New Zealand are sent via courier and can be tracked. Please ensure that someone is home to sign for your parcel, or provide us with a physical work address to ensure safe delivery of your art. Additionally, please check our country shipping time frames and delivery information.
Courier deliveries are made daily between 9 AM and 5 PM. If no one is home, the courier driver will leave a note for you to collect your parcel from the nearest courier depot.
*Please note: We do not deliver to PO Boxes, and rural deliveries may take longer.
All orders are processed daily before 12 PM. Orders received after 4 PM will be processed the following day. Orders placed on weekends and public holidays will also be processed the next business day.
If there are any delays, we will be in touch. Orders made on New Zealand public holidays will be dispatched the next business day.

All prints that require shipping are sent from our print supplier located in Auckland, New Zealand.
In the future, we may offer a print-on-demand option for specific countries to help reduce shipping costs for international customers. In the meantime, please refer to our Shipping tab for information about shipping rates and delivery times.
Starting in 2025, we will establish international shipping locations for all overseas customers, which will allow us to offer free shipping in certain countries.
We offer international shipping for art prints (both flat and tubed) and photography prints (flat or tubed).
Please note that we do not ship framed prints internationally.

Shopping at artandrealism.com offers a user-friendly and efficient experience! Here’s how it works:
1. Search for Products: Explore our extensive collection of prints and art products. You can quickly locate specific items using the Search tool. Alternatively, browse through our catalog via various menus such as Shop All, New, Bestsellers, Art Prints, Photography, Art Styles, Themes, and Sale.
2. Select Your Product: Once you find an art print or product you wish to purchase, choose the size from the available options.
3. Choose Framing Options: You can select whether you want the print framed or unframed. If you choose a framed option, you can pick from three frame colors: Oak, Black, or White.
4. Add to Cart: After selecting the size and framing options, simply click the 'Add to Cart' button. The product will be automatically added to your cart.
5. Review Your Cart: Your cart will be displayed on the right side of the website, showing the items you have selected. You can adjust quantities or remove products as needed. If you're eligible for free shipping, you'll be notified. If not, you can get a shipping estimate by entering your country and postcode.
6. Check Out or Continue Shopping: After reviewing your cart, you can either proceed to check out or continue shopping. If you choose to check out, you can quickly move to our secure checkout page and finalize your order by clicking the checkout button.
7. Choose shipping or local pickup.

Yes! We offer a checkout service for both account holders and visitors.
1. If you create an account, you will always have a record of your orders securely displayed in your account.
2. You can create an account by clicking on the person icon in the top right corner. An account stores your name, address, and product preferences, making the checkout process quick and easy whenever you shop with us.
3. If you ever lose your password, you can reset it. An email will be sent to the address you provided during account registration. Simply follow the instructions in the email to reset your password and log in again with your new credentials.
4. Feel free to log out of your account at any time. This is simply a convenient shopping option for you, now or in the future.

When you buy one of our gift cards, you will receive an email confirmation of your order, along with instructions on how to redeem it. The process is very simple for everyone.
Our gift cards have no additional processing fees and do not have an expiration date.

RETURNS
We sincerely hope that you will love your new art prints and products from Art & Realism. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your art or framed pieces, or if they do not fit your beautiful space, we are more than happy to offer you an exchange, store credit, or a full refund, provided that the product is in its original condition.
Please note the following return guidelines:

To initiate a return, please contact us during business hours, which are from 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also email us with your order number and details of your return. Please be aware that we are not liable for missing items if the courier service you use for the return does not offer tracking.
For a successful return, we recommend using the original packaging we provided to safely return your unwanted item and minimize the risk of damage.
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, please reach out to us with your order number, and we will arrange for a replacement at no additional cost to you. If a replacement is not possible, we will issue a full refund of the purchase price.
You can expect to receive your replacement, exchange, or refund within 7 days of us receiving the returned item. Please get in touch, and we will be happy to provide you with our return address.
Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. This allows us to evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.
We take great care to ensure that your orders are protected during transit. If, unfortunately, your order does not arrive in perfect condition, please email us, and we will do our best to fix the issue as quickly as possible. You may be asked to provide evidence of the damaged, faulty, or incorrect goods, such as photos.
Once we have inspected and confirmed the issue with your item, we will exchange it for the same item. If the item is out of stock, we will inform you right away and give you the option to choose another product of equal value from our store, or you may apply for a refund.

REFUNDS
If you would like to return your print or artwork, please note that you are responsible for shipping it back to us in perfect condition at your own expense. Contact us to receive instructions for safely returning your item.
Make sure to carefully repackage the artwork as you received it. We recommend using a tracked or signed courier service to ensure it arrives safely. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will arrange either a store credit or a refund.
Please be aware that refunds are not available for large-format prints, digital products, custom designs, or sale items. If you would like a replacement, please check with us beforehand to confirm availability, as limited edition prints may sell out.
We cannot offer refunds or replacements for orders if you simply change your mind or choose the wrong size. Our print-on-demand manufacturing process does not allow for these changes.
Returning Art Prints and Other Art Products:
If you have a return, or if your print is damaged (e.g., broken frame, glass, etc.), please contact us for assistance.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Items not in their original condition, those that are damaged, or have missing parts not due to our error will not be accepted.
Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable):
If you have yet to receive your refund, please check your bank account again. Then, contact your credit card company, as it may take some time for your refund to be officially posted. Next, reach out to your bank, as there is often processing time before a refund appears.
If you’ve done all this and still have not received your refund, please contact us for further assistance.
Sale Items (if applicable):
Refunds are only available for regular-priced items; unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Our electronic eGift Cards by Art & Realism are non-refundable.

If the item was purchased as a gift card, it will be delivered electronically. You will receive an email confirming the gift credit for the value of your return. Once we receive the returned item, a physical gift certificate will be mailed to you.
1. Art & Realism Electronic e-Gift Cards:
(i) Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
(ii) This card has no value until it is activated at the time of purchase.
(iii) To redeem this card, check your email receipt for the unique code and enter it at checkout. Any remaining balance can be paid with a credit card, following the provided instructions before completing the purchase.
(iv) Values of $30, $50, $75, $100, $150, $200, $250, and $500 can be loaded onto each card.
(v) No change will be given, but any unused balance may be applied to future purchases.
