With more than 30 years of painting and visual arts under his belt, creating original work has always been a hobby for Pete and in 2023 he decided to hang up his corporate shoes for good and pursue painting full-time.
Based in Waipa, a quick 5 minute drive from Keri Keri, Peter Rewi is an emerging artist. His style is contemporary realism and he paints what resonates with him and his Wairua. Painting for Pete, is his favourite and creative pastime and his biggest love. It's been a lifelong dream for Pete to live in the country, open his own gallery and turn his passion into his livelihood and begin his art journey.
